Nick’s Personal Statement

I have been surrounded by the love and companionship of dogs all my life, from being a child and growing up with an Irish Wolfhound and then having dogs of my own for the past 30 years. I have also had pet rabbits, budgies, hamsters, iguana’s, mice, fish and snakes, so am not phased by any kind of domestic pet.

For the past 15 years I have had a hectic work life. Managing the Facilities on the largest Retail & Leisure Park in the UK, along with managing another 4 Retail Parks. I was responsible for the Health & Safety for over 12.5 million people a year, which meant that I would spend most of my time outside ensuring the safety of visitors to the Retail Parks from drainage to high bay lighting.

After relocating to North Wales in 2024, I decided that I would like to pursue my love for animals and the outdoors and become a professional dog walker & pet sitter.

At present, I have a 5 year old Beagle cross Cocker Spaniel (Bocker) and we spend many hours discovering the Welsh Coastline, I would like to continue this and share our time with other dogs.

I have a UK Rural Certificate in Dog Walking, Pet Sitting & Canine & Feline First Aid.
